Does the bible condemn Same sex marriage?

There are other resources that go into more depth about each place that it is listed. This answer is just a more general one.

Almost all of the verses concerning homosexuality revolve around idol worship and behaviors that surrounded it. The story of sodom and gomorrah is one of rape of foreign travelers and not of consensual sex. This is what it says about them: Ezekiel 16 Judgment on Jerusalem …48"As I live," declares the Lord GOD, "Sodom, your sister and her daughters have not done as you and your daughters have done. 49"Behold, this was the guilt of your sister Sodom: she and her daughters had arrogance, abundant food and careless ease, but she did not help the poor and needy. 50"Thus they were haughty and committed abominations before Me. Therefore I removed them when I saw it.… You also have to realize the culture back then did not honor women and in fact saw them as the lowest. So being in the woman's role as a wife was horrible to them. IT was okay if you were the one on top aka the husband but not the wife. You will find the same type of culture in africa where they think forcing themselves on a man as okay but do not consider themselves as gay. So basically it all revolves around rape and idol worship. There is not one single verse in the bible that condemns same sex marriage. It condemns all kinds of sex outside of marriage. That being said IF we truly wish to be Christs you should be willing to give up anything to be His child. It does not mean you won't get it back or that He will keep it from you but you should be willing to give it up. Addictions like the love of money, drinking, drugs even sex are forms of idolatry. Nothing in of itself is bad but when you over do it then ya even money can lead you down the wrong path.

Some one asked me :"what are we supposed to be willing to give up to be God's child? Are you saying it's SSM?"

When the rich man asked Jesus what shall I do to be saved, Christ answered him and said go and sell all that you have and follow me. The rich man went away sad. Matthew 19 …20The young man said to Him, "All these things I have kept; what am I still lacking?" 21Jesus said to him, "If you wish to be complete, go and sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me." 22But when the young man heard this statement, he went away grieving; for he was one who owned much property. What Christ was trying to get at was that he really was not ready to give up anything for Christ. If you were a AA member you would understand this better. But the point is you have to be wiling to do it. It does not mean you will be ASKED to do it. There is a difference. In the rich mans case he was addicted to wealth. Then I was asked again: "And in your last paragraph, you list addictions, and then say "Nothing in of [sic.] itself is bad. . . ." Do you really mean that? Drugs in particular? Heroin use in and of itself isn't bad? "

Now for drugs even forms of heroin is used for pain control. Nothing is evil in of itself. A gun for example is just a piece of equipment. IT is what you DO with the gun that is wrong.Paul says the same thing: 1 Corinthians 10 23All things are lawful, but not all things are profitable. All things are lawful, but not all things edify. 24Let no one seek his own good, but that of his neighbor.…

Matthew 15 illustrates a similar point. The pharisee's were all upset because they did not wash their hands first. They wanted them to obey the law. Christ explained to the disciples that it is not what you do that is evil or good it is what is in your heart. Matthew 15 Amplified Bible (AMP) 17 Do you not see and understand that whatever goes into the mouth passes into the [d]abdomen and so passes on into the place where discharges are deposited? 18 But whatever comes out of the mouth comes from the heart, and this is what makes a man unclean and defiles [him]. 19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts (reasonings and disputings and designs) such as murder, adultery, sexual vice, theft, false witnessing, slander, and irreverent speech. 20 These are what make a man unclean and defile [him]; but eating with unwashed hands does not make him unclean or defile [him].
