The real reason society crumbles

The shooting in orlando florida, at the pulse a gay bar, and some peoples response to it was disheartening especially since some of the worst responses came from those who claim to be Christians. I was dumbstruck how some had the nerve to say that the shooter did the world a favor. This is not what Christ taught. In the days of rome people acted worse then they do today and Christ still told them to love their enemies and do good to their neighbors. Matthew 5:44

All to many people lack empathy a social skill we learn as a child. In my opinion this is the heart of so many problems in our present society. With social media comes a reward for being narcissistic.. It also comes with avenues for indulging in other less savory emotional responses like being judgmental, cruel, and even hateful. We are creating a entire generation that thrives on these things. There is a bible verse that unfortunately fits the behaviors we see today with so many people. It time to change all of this.
